VIDEO: Tennessee tops Georgia with Hail Mary in wild finish

This was an ending for the ages.

No. 11 Tennessee defeated No. 25 Georgia on Saturday evening thanks to a 43-yard Hail Mary as time expired in the fourth quarter. Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs connected with sophomore receiver Jauan Jennings for the improbable completion as their teammates went crazy. The UGA fans at Sanford Stadium were stunned.

Tennessee coach Butch Jones was so overcome by emotion he dropped to his knees on the field.

And how can you blame the guy? Just seconds earlier, the Bulldogs had taken a three-point lead on a 47-yard touchdown from Jacob Eason to Riley Ridley. The Vols hopes of a victory were all but shot.

However, Georgia was pushed back on ensuing kickoff because of an excessive-celebration penalty, and Tennessee returner Evan Berry scampered into UGA territory, setting up the bomb from Dobbs.
